Mirrorview only works on highest CX port. you can have that port shared between normal host traffic and mirrorview. In my env, I always try to less use SP3 ports on mirroeview arrays.
if you have SANcopy then it will be a better option over mirrorview because it works on all ports and faster than mirrorview.
You do need to use the SPx3 ports for MirrorView/S between your CX700 & CX3-80. However these ports can also be shared with host traffic (with usual caveats about possible performance impacts). Note that if you also use SanCopy it cannot use the MirrorView ports.
Please go to PowerLink and locate the Mirroview Knowledgebook (see link below) - see page 13 - this lists the ports supported for Mirrorview for the different arrays
