Hello,

Depending on your host system OS, the relevant connectivity guide details how to connect to, and see storage on a Clariion.

Support -> Tech Doc and adviseries -> Host Connectivity/HBA

In Support -> Tech Doc and Adviseries -> Software (J-O) -< Navisphere Management Suite .. have a look through there for installation guides and white papers you may have an interest in.

Hope this helps,

Is your CLARiiON in production yet?

If it isn't I suggest just going through and messing with it for a month or so before implementing it.

Also, if your sales rep is super nice and your purchase was recent, you might be able to get some video training for free from him.  If not, you may want to spend a few bucks on it.  (Or have it bundled in with another purchase).

Are you completely new to storage, or just the CLARiiON?

If you're completely new you have 3 basic things you need to learn.  This is just the basics really.

SAN

Fibre Channel - Zoning mostly (If you're using Fibre Channel)

iSCSI - If you're using iSCSI instead of Fibre Channel

Array

CLARiiON - RAID Groups, LUNs, Storage Groups

Host

Multipathing, StorPort Hotfix, etc.
