Linux host does nott register with CX700

I have installed the EMC Powerpath and Navisphere agent, modifies the agenconfig and agentis.txt as per procedure. (LINUX SERVER)
Did the fabric zoning perfectly.

The problem is, from the Navisphere GUI Iam not able to see the Linux host listed under hosts tab nor it lists the wwn under connectivity status of array.
Therefore Iam unable to add the host to the storage group nor manually register the wwn. I will have to resolve this issue as quckly as possible.........can somebody help me please??

reboot the server ..if it still does not show up you can manually register it by providing HBA's port WWN and node WWN.

How do I manually register it??
As far as I know, if the wwn is listed in connectivity status.....then I can manually add it. Let me know if there's another procedure?

By the way the server has been rebooted and also the communication port on the firewall is open.

Any clue??

Thanks

go to connectivity status, select "New". For "Initator Name" type your HBAs node wwn and Port wwn ..you can get these from the bios of the HBA or from either SanSurfer on Qlogic cards or HbaAnywhere on Emulex. Select the SP that that particular HBA is zoned to. Initiator type "Clariion open", Unit serial number "Array", Array Commpath needs to be checked, Failover mode "1" if you have powerpath, Leave hba vendor and model blank, and then enter host name and its ip address.
