Removing Consistency groups and Remote Mirrors
Hi,
We used to have MirrorView working on our SANs in async mode, this is now not being used. I have removed the secondary image from the remote mirrors section and the consistency groups say they are empty. Is is alright to destroy these consistency groups and remote mirrors or will this also destroy the data on them as well?

Been a while, but I believe you should be okay. That said, before proceeding I would suggest reading the EMC MirrorView/Asynchronous for EMC Navisphere Administrator's Guide. I believe it can be found in the product documentation for MirrorView.
