SANCopy with Windows cluster

Hi,
I have transfered 500 GB of CLARiiON CX700 to CX-3 in Windows cluster environment by using SANCopy(full- after shutting down servers). data was sucessfully transfered on target array but target server are unable to read the data.
zonning, masking, mapping is correct. do u have any idea what else need to be done.

can you give us more details ..can OS see the drive in Disk Management but you can't read data ?

Hi,

Thanks for the answer! Unfortunately Sync 2.0 also requires a drive letter :-(

Cluster services started up correctly ? Enabled your cluster resources, booted the nodes in the right order ?

This looks so much like a MSCS (Microsoft Cluster Service) problem.... I know this doesn't help, but I've seen it too many times....

Yes, OS can see the drives but can't recognize the file systems and data. disk looks healther to OS.

RRR might be onto something here ....were cluster resources taken offline before the source system was shutdown ?

Even thought disk signature should not have changed, i have seen it where it does change ..take a look at this and rule this out:

Yes, cluster resources were shutdown during the migration.

did you have any luck validating what signature dumpcfg see on the disk and what you have in the registry ?
