We have an application that is dumping a lot of sequential writes to Clariion raid 6 group. The configuration is 6 + 2 Sata drives with a write size of 256kb but I want to change to Raid 5 4 + 1 on Sata drives. Is my new config the most effecient layout or is there one better?
