See primus
...
The following is a Primus(R) eServer solution:
ID: emc225054
Domain: EMC1
Solution Class: 3.X Compatibility
Goal Why do Management Port Settings 'Requested speed setting' revert to auto after management module reseated?
Fact Product: CLARiiON CX4 series
Fact Product: CLARiiON CX3 series
Fact EMC Firmware: FLARE Release 29
Fact EMC Firmware: FLARE Release 28
Fact EMC Firmware: FLARE Release 26
Symptom Management Port Settings "Requested speed setting" revert to auto.
Change Customer modified the management port setting "requested speed setting" to 100 Mps/full duplex
Change Customer removed and inserted the Management Module.
Change Customer modified the management port setting "Requested speed setting" to 100 Mps/half duplex.
Fix This is working as designed. Navisphere Help recommends leaving Management Port Settings set to ''auto.''
According to the Navisphere Help file: "Requested Settings Sets the speed for the management ports. The default setting is Auto . We strongly recommend that you contact your service provider before changing these settings."
Note Customer verified Management Port Settings from naviseccli -h <IP address> networkadmin -get -all.

In Unisphere, select network settings from the settings icon at the top (near right side...).
Then set each SP from the link on the right side.

Just set the switch port to auto/auto and the SP port to Auto - it will negotiate to the correct speed and duplex
