ZFS and storage array considerations

Hi,

Since few month i experienced ZFS file system on Oracle platform and storage based on Clariion CX4-960. ( prod and cx4-120 on lab )

I read a lot of documentation about ZFS, but the consideration of caching is a little bit too obscur.

My point is how to manage disk array not to flushing it's cache after flush write cache request issued by Oracle Solaris ZFS ?

My question comes from this documentation :

http://developers.sun.com/solaris/howtoguides/wp-oraclezfsconfig-0510_ds_ac2.pdf on page 2.

I didnt see any possibilty of configuration for this parameters when i initiate a RAID5, a storage group or a LUN.

I know that we should gain troughput or reponse time having only on system caching enable. ( ZFS or CX4. )

What do you experienced or recommended tweakings for the cache management with ZFS on Clarrion CX4 ?

Are features avaiable to do that on Unisphere GUI ?

Do you have considerations or best practices to share for ZFS optimisation on EMC Clariion CX4.

Regards,
