Brocade G620 GUI using OpenJDK

We have four Brocade G620 FC switches to connect our SC storage.

Unfortunately, the GUI Management portal requires Jave to run.

As we have removed Oracle Java from our environment, I am attempting to get the GUI working using OpenJDK.

I've installed the Microsoft JDK 17.0.7, but I cannot get the GUI to open. 

If I go to http://[ipaddress]/

It downloads a file called "download"

If I go to http://[ipaddress]/switchExplorer_installed.html

It just opens a local temp webpage with this text: v8.1.1 Web Tools [ipaddress]

 

Has anyone been successful in configuring an OpenJDK environment that can access the Brocade Management GUI?

 

I tried Broadcom Support, and after taking 20 minutes to just navigate their horrid support site, I called them, and they told me that I need to contact Dell.

I've had similar experiences with Dell Support when it comes to Brocade support, so I thought I'd try the Community.

I'll be so glad when we replace this storage with someone better, and I can finally take a slegehammer to these Brocades
