I have an issue with the phone home failure as shown in attachment. Anyone can help to guide me on how to rectify this? I'm totally new with this storage center to be honest. Really appreciate your kind help.
Has there been any changes in network or firewall? What code level are you at? There was a new port requirement for 6.6 and higher, you had to open TCP 8443 along with 22 & 443 in your firewall for outbound connectivity. If that's no help you could engage Copilot as they are very helpful. To check your current code level log into Storage Center, Click Storage Management, System, Update, and check for update.
From the CSTA (Copilot Services Technical Alert)
Alert:
Prior to upgrading the SCOS to 6.6.x or later, the following outbound network connectivity needs to be verified.
The addition of outbound port 8443 must be applied prior to an upgrade to SCOS version 6.6.x or later in order to maintain SupportAssist and Secure Console access capabilities.
If the network requires hosts to use a proxy server to reach the internet, the Storage Center must be configured to use a SupportAssist proxy.
TCP ports 22, 443 and 8443 must be allowed outbound to the internet from controller management eth0 IPs and the shared management IP for clustered controllers. If an Enterprise Manager Data Collector is used, the IP address of this server should also be allowed outbound communication for SupportAssist connectivity only.
Ports 22, 443, and 8443 allowed outbound are the only requirements needed for most environments. For advanced firewall settings please see the tables below and configure the firewall accordingly.
