Dell SC4020 trim/unmap
Hi expert,
I have deleted about 30T file from host site which loacted the SC4020 mapped volume.
But in DSM, it still no relased the volume space.
Have any command to manually retrim/unmap the space?
Any comment is highly appreciated

Because Compellent isnt supportet for automatic trim/unmap on the vSphere ESXi Platform we have to run ist manually from time to time.
So which Platform do you use and does the OS supports a autom. trim/unmap?

NTFS or ReFS(this wasnt supportet) with trim.
I remember to the old days that there was a "space reclaim" option when you install the Agent.
Have you take a look to the docs? IIRC there was a section for Hyper-V/GuestOS... iam pretty sure somewhere there will be a statement how it works on Windows.
