Dell SCv2020
We bought used FC controllers.
Replaced ISCSI storage controllers with FC controllers. And we received the following errors.
Controller HSN XXXXX came from a different Storage Center.
Please remove the controller from this Storage Center and
replace with a FRU controller obtained from service depot.

This has to do with how the controllers are tied to the box's via the serial number. if a used controller still has the old box serial number it will not register in the new system. Most likely you will have to contact support for help on resetting the controllers HSN and SSN to make it work.

Hello thanks for choosing Dell. So it looks like you are using a second hand part- this is very likely causing the issue. I’m told you must use the part component that is newly reset.
