This message is associated to the ability of the Storage Center to recognize LDAP and Kerberos to establish Directory Services introduced in SCOS code 7.3 and later releases. The messages are harmless, benign in nature for informational purposes. They can be safely ignored. Currently the messages cannot be suppress and they are working as designed.

The LEDs may be a different issue. If you would like to post a picture of the LED's we may be able to determine something or you may need to call into support to look over the controller logs.

These are normal if something is doing api calls to the device. Did anything change in your environment that could be monitoring the status of the device?

We set up PRTG alerts on the SAN but that was after we started receiving these alerts. That's the only thing i can think of.

Is it on the current version of SCOS?

It is running on version 7.4.21.4

The LEDs on the front of the controller are appearing normal now but we still receive the alerts. There's no way to suppress the alarms if they are normal? The email alerts we receive are saying its "Enclosure - 1 is emitting a tone indicating a problem." yet walk in the server room and there is nothing coming from the SAN.

Looking at the release notes for 7.5.2 and 7.5.1 they have some fixes for alerts. It may also be worth rebooting each controller and seeing if that resolves the message creation.

We were able to reboot the controllers last night and the alerts were paused until about noon today. Any other ideas?

The other thing to try is to update to 7.5.2.
