The OS of the SCV3020 controller is not running.
LED blinks every 2 seconds, every 1 second

I got root privileges and tried again.

Although scos is running.

The LED on the back of the controller indicates that the OS is booting (flashing at intervals of 2 seconds, 1 second).

Please, can you try to remove the batteries to the controllers and power down the unit, wait for about 15 minutes. Then put them back in and check if the storage unit boot up fine?

Was your Compellent previous running prior to this or no?  When you rebooted your compellent did you wait 20 minutes prior to trying to login?  Do you happen to know the SCOS version?

With this issue, I would call into support so that we can look at the logs of your SCv4020 to see what is going on as to why the replacement controller is not coming online.

We contacted Dell service center and got the following response.

I contacted the Dell service center, but they don't solve it.
You must have a service tag and it won't fix it.
We do not have a service tag.

I am sorry but you need a Service Tag to receive a quote for support. Otherwise the hardware cannot be tracked and the quote cannot be done.
