Best practices for setting up IVR via FCIP in MDS

Hi,

There is an MDS with two sites connected through a WAN. There is also an edge switch connected under the FCIP switch, which is omitted in the picture below.

What I want to check is the configuration details for configuring IVR between different VSANs via FCIP switches. Could you please share your best practices for the following configuration?

Should I use Trunk for the Port-Channel to be used for IVR over FCIP?

2)

If Trunk should be used, is “switchport trunk alloed vsan XX” not required on this port channel or FCIP interface?

3)

If I want to merge fabrics in pairs of VSAN2 and VSAN3, or VSAN4 and VSAN5, should I set an AFID for each VSAN? Or can I just set “ivr vsan-topology auto” to allow fabric merge between the desired VSANs?
