brocade 300 isl requirement

Question

i want to make isl for two new brocade 300 with 12 port activation with my current brocade 200. what is the requirement? is new brocade 300 come with isl trunking license or i need to buy for the trunking license? how about the old brocade 200, i should buy for the isl trunking license also? any other thing i need to check also?

AFAIK the trunking license still isn't free of charge. Also make sure that the ISL ports are in the same quad: so ports 0-3, 4-7, 8-11 etc etc. If you try to create a trunk using ports 2 and 11 you'll end up with 2 trunks instead of 1.
