Decommission of cisco SAN Director mds 9506
I am new to cisco switches and planning to decommission my cisco MDS 9506 SAN switch. Am looking for steps/procedure to proceed it. Please someone could help with it, if any docs or steps/procedure available?

Hello Gobinathvcet,
What you will want to do is to destroy all your zone sets and running configuration first. Once that is done then you can do a reset your switch.

I would be very careful before you proceed with the steps Dell-Sam is suggesting. If zone distribution is enabled and you delete the zones, they will be deleted on other switches where that same VSAN resides. I also like to clean up ivr topology before physically removing switches from the fabric.
