Installation folder Connectrix SANNav appliance

Hi

Do to recommendations from Broadcom regarding log4j2 and SANnav I would like to implement the recommended changes. I need to find the installationfolder for SANnav on the appliance.

What I need to find is the way to stop sannav while running the recommended commands.

/bin/stop-sannav.sh

Someone who can guide me in the right direction?

Hello,

There are no troubleshooting steps we can recommend at this point in time in regard to the log4j issue, as it is still being worked on. You might consider contacting phone support directly to see if there are recommendations the Connectrix teams can make specifically. With appliances, sometimes tools can be obscured away and phone support may have additional information.

If you can provide your country, I can locate a support contact number for you.

Hi,

The SANav folder should under normal circumstances under the root directory.

If you logged in as root, cd back up one folder, then the SANnav folder should be there.

Regards,

Ed

Broadcom has a patch available for download for SANNav 2.1.1
Is this patch going to be incorporated into Dell's patch info? (SANNav vuln page doesn't mention log4j)

BTW, on the 2.1.1 downloaded Connectrix SANNav OVA I used...
the "installation folder" is /sannav-portal-v211/sannav-home/Portal_2.1.1_bld184

Most likely it will get added, but if it isn't an urgent update it may be part of the next scheduled update cycle.
