Interoperability Question

Question

As a query result in the interoperability matrix I got some info about the tape library series HP MSL 6060 using tape device HP Ultrium LTO II, LTOIII, LTOIII however one of my customers is inquiring about LTO IV

This is the platform

Host Bus Adapter HPQ A8002A/FC2142SR (LPe1150), HPQ A8003A/FC2242SR (LPe11002), HPQ AE311A/FC1142SR (QLE2460), HPQ AE312A/FC1242SR (QLE2462)
Host System HPQ Proliant DL360 (G5)
Hosted OS Microsoft Windows [32-Bit] 2003 Enterprise Edition, Microsoft Windows [32-Bit] 2003 Standard Edition
Storage Array EMC CLARiiON CX3-10c
Switch Cisco MDS 9020/9Q20, Cisco MDS 9216i
Tape Library Device HPQ MSL6000 Series

Does the fact the tape device is LTO 4 will affect the interoperability? Where would be the best place to post this question?
They are also trying to connect a tape library HP MSL 2024 and that doesn't even show in the matrix... can I affirm it isn't compatible or just that hasn't been tried and so not supported vy EMC

Hi CarraO .. welcome at EMC Support Forum .. Let me ask you a question ?? Do you usually talk about HBA and tapes while you take a coffee with your collegues ??

This isn't the right area of the forums where to put such questions .. It's likely that you'll receive an answer if you post the same question in another area of the forum .. I'd start with "Infrastructure/Connectivity" ... But maybe there is a better area ..who knows ??
