AIT Delivery Date Wrong
I purchased an Alienware Area-51 custom-built desktop and paid for 3-day express. The package says it's delayed when I track it. AIT thinks it won't be delivered until the 29th this month, but I paid for it to be delivered on the 22nd or 23rd this month. I'm confused about what is going on here.

There is no way to specify a delivery date when ordering, and bear in mind the 3-day clock starts ticking when the system arrives in the destination country. Most Alienware systems are made in China, so you will need to factor in the inevitable international shipping delays into the time estimate.

Yeah, mine was made in China, so you're saying once it's in America, those 3 days will start, and the delivery date will change?

The 3 day shipping clock starts when the delivery company receives the system -- not when you order it.

@ejn63 So, it's just not updated in the AIT system yet because they don't have the package yet. When they do, then the date will change.

@ejn63 I believe it's at the airport in the USA, just not picked yet by AIT because their company isn't open on Sundays in the States, it's still expected to be here on Tuesday. It was flown here by a Chinese company, it said on 17track from Saturday to Sunday, so I believe it will be picked up tomorrow.
