Alienware R12 Order (Stuck in Confirmed)
Hi all,
On March 26th 2022, I ordered an Alienware R12 with the following specs:
- RTX 3070
- 2x8GB 3200 MHz RAM
- 2TB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD
- Intel i7 11700F
- 550W PSU w/ Liquid Cooling (Dark of the moon case)
- Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX201 (2x2) 802.11ax Wireless and Bluetooth 5.1
Later that day, the order was set to 'Confirmed,' but it has been stuck on that step for the past few weeks. It also mentions underneath that the 'order is about to enter production,' but again the message has been there for quite a while (since the order was 'Confirmed'). I am not receiving any updates as to why it hasn't been able to enter the 'Production' step yet. I would like to assume it's due to part delays but I have yet to be informed/updated.

R12's are now showing product unavailable if you go to the Alienware page and select R12.

The deals section has an R12 build for $1399.99 but instead you get a GPU downgrade with the RTX 3060 12GB and a 550W PSU with air cooling. You can add liquid cooling and the RTX 3060 has a little more VRAM than the 3070. This is a first come first claimed deal and currently it's at 63% claimed.
