Alienware Tri Mode Wireless Gaming Headset microphone stopped working

My Alienware Tri Mode Wireless Gaming Headset Lunar Light - AW725H suddenly stopped working, this headset is extremely lightly used.

I have since tried updating drivers and anything listed on dell's website, used the dell supportassist app to make sure everything was good. Ive made sure my computer is up to date and tried the headset with and without the headset jack plugged in. No matter what I do I cannot get my computer (Alienware area 51) to use this microphone. It has never been an issue up to this point.

I read another post mentioning messaging Dell-Cares but when I go to their profile and click to message it just takes me back to the home page of the Dell community page.
