False refund promise

I have been promised a refund more than a week ago but nothing happened since then.

I just talk to customer support over phone and they told me that there is no refund being processed.

Does anyone know what to do in this case?

Am I going to lose my money?

I've been talking endlessly to customer service representatives, which are essentially good for nothing and sometimes even contradict one another.

Dell has become a horrible, irresponsive, irresponsible company.

If you used paypal, try opening a dispute. Otherwise, open a case with your bank. I would not expect Dell to take any responsibility past taking your money and do nothing about it.
