Government Quotes - Pricing

Hello everyone,

I own a small business and we resell a lot of Dell prodcuts to our customers.  Recently I have noticed that I cannot get competitive pricing for any of our local governement customers.  Many of my government customers have Premiere accounts.  They will create a quote for what they want and email it to me (because they would rather buy from a local vendor).  I am basically forwarding their Premiere quotes to my channel sales team and they are sending me quotes back that are many times 20 to 30 percent higher.  When I question my sales team they tell me that they have to honor certain "contract pricing" for government entities.  But this doesn't sound right to me as my government cusotmers could easily punch in their credit card number on the Premiere site and order what they just quoted!  I'm at a loss.  This isn't something that only happens occasionally - it's the norm.  Anyone else having these kind of issues?
