Is anyone else having issues with receiving computers ordered for Christmas???
I created an order on December 19th for a computer that their website stated would be shipped on December 20th and arrive by Christmas. I went to place the order, and delivery date changed to December 31, New Year's Eve, instead of Christmas Eve. I went back and selected the same laptop again, and it did the same thing. Contacting Customer Service resulted in being disconnected once, having a rep who told me to place the order, and it would be fine, and contacting a third rep (a self proclaimed supervisor), who said delivery looked like an issue, but promised it for December 26th, a day late for my son's gift.
On Christmas day, I logged on to find, the computer showed in production and had not shipped. I sent a message to customer service concerning this issue, and now, December 27th, I'm still waiting on a response. 2 days after Christmas, and an item promised to arrive before Christmas in their advertising, has still not shipped. This is not a UPS or FedEx issue, but a Dell issue in their deceptive advertising and customer service. I now believe that the customer service representative would have promised world peace to keep my order in their system, all along knowing the reality. I could have went elsewhere for the computer, but the website and the representative made promises that were all false, and I have a son without a gift, and I'm out the money that I paid for the computer.
