Is this Dell accessory genuine?
Hi, I bought a DELL 65w USB-C Auto Air charger adapter from Amazon: Dell Auto Air Adapter 65W USB-C *Same as 450-AFLE* : Amazon.co.uk: Computers & Accessories
I can't figure out if it is genuine or not. The dell website seems to be useless. I can't seem to search any of the product codes on the Dell website, but I also can't search for the product codes for the charger that is actually on the dell website either.
Why am I suspicious?
Came from amazon, in a A4 size white padded envelope, no dell branding on any packaging. Unsealed plastic bags inside, and I can see very small amounts of glue at the seams of the casing of the charger.
The sticker on the white envelope Reads:
CUS,ADPT,65W,AUTO-AIR,T-C
VPN: 450-AFLE
EAN No: 5397063776092
QTY:1
Inside the envelope was the charger, with a small car socket adapter in a separate bag inside the charger bag, both in an unsealed plastic bag.
One bag has a small label:
CN-0CDH54-DES00-165-0F9Z-A06
Made in China
DP/N 0CDH54
The charger body (part which goes into the car socket) reads:
MODEL: ADC-65AB AA Max.power:65W
SN:CN-0CDH54-DES00-165-0F9Z-A06
No CE mark imprinted on this or anything.
Chrome dell logo on the other side
The rubber cable tidy attached to the cable has the more typical stuff you would expect such as a CE mark Dell Logo and a few things, one thing that is confusing here is it says the model number is:
Model: DA65NM150 Max.Power:65Watts
and then has the outputs and inputs of the charger
It is genuine? How would I find that out.

450-AFLE is a sales SKU and changes via region. 450-AFLE = Dell part 87J1C

I did a chat session with a Dell Pro Tech to have them NOT find anything on dell.com for this part which IS the correct & proper Auto adapter for those Dell laptop with only USB-C/Thunderbolt style power connector.
Waay odd that Dell doesn't show when doing a 'Search'.
