Laptop issue, Egypt

I am reaching out to seek urgent assistance regarding ongoing issues with my Dell laptop, which has recently undergone extensive repairs through your authorized service center, Redington, in Egypt. Despite their efforts, the laptop remains non-functional and now exhibits new problems, leaving me without a reliable device.

Here is a summary of the situation:

Overheating and Frequent Shutdowns as initially, the laptop experienced severe overheating, reaching temperatures up to 100°C, causing it to shut down unexpectedly. Since it was still under warranty, I took it to Redington on September 1st, where it remained for over a month. They replaced the motherboard and battery, and I retrieved it on October 10.

However, from the moment I picked up the laptop, it failed to start easily, often taking significant time to power on. Additionally, it continued to shut down abruptly during regular use. I returned the device to Redington on October 13, which was also the last day of the warranty.

Unfortunately, the service center informed me that the warranty had expired, even though I was under the impression that the warranty should cover a full year. They proceeded to charge me 200 EGP for diagnostics, suggesting the issue was related to a BIOS update. However, after collecting the laptop, the shutdown issue persisted.

Just a week later, the laptop failed completely, refusing to power on. Upon returning it to Redington, they confirmed that the motherboard was again the issue but stated that no further action could be taken, as the warranty had expired.

What is most confusing and frustrating is that the motherboard they claim is faulty is the same motherboard that they replaced during the initial repair process, which lasted for 40 days within the warranty period (from September 1st to October 10th). I simply cannot understand why they would replace the motherboard and then later claim that the same part is the cause of the issue, especially after the warranty has expired. It raises serious concerns about the quality of the repair work, and why the problem was not addressed during the warranty period, when it should have been resolved.**

This entire sequence of events has been extremely frustrating. Not only am I left with a non-functional laptop, but the situation is also affecting me both mentally and financially. I rely on my device for work and personal use, and the ongoing issues have caused significant stress, as well as financial strain from repeated repair attempts.

I am deeply dissatisfied with the way my case has been handled and the quality of the repairs performed. This has left me uncertain about the durability of Dell products and the support I should expect from authorized service centers.

I am requesting that Dell review my case and provide guidance or support to resolve this matter as soon as possible. I would appreciate prompt attention to this issue, as I am now without a functional laptop and unable to continue with my day-to-day activities.

Thank you for your time and attention to this matter. I am looking forward to hearing from you and receiving a resolution to the ongoing issues with my laptop.

All service and support in Egypt is through your selling dealer -- Dell does not have a corporate presence or direct support there.  You need to return to your seller.
