Order Delay, Awful Communication

Why am I finding out a day before delivery that my computer has been delayed a month! This is terrible customer service. How do you expect to keep customers if you tell them the day before delivery that it won't be there until after the holidays. This is ridiculous and poor planning. I ordered these computers on November 23rd and the expected delivery was tomorrow December 7th. How am I supposed to give these as Christmas presents when they wont be here until January! The least you could have done is updated me on the order status a week or two ago when you determined the backup. There is no way a one month backup happened overnight. This is a terrible way to treat military customers. I hope this complaint reaches the highest levels of leadership in the Dell corporation s so they are aware of how poor of an operation they are running when it comes to keeping customers updated.

Same here. Mine was supposed to be delivered on the 10th and now says it won't make it until after Christmas. Worst yet, beyond all the wasted time, is that my second option is now almost $150 more expensive. Dell has tricked customers and left them stranded, last minute, with all the deals long-gone.

Dell: Don't sell to people on black friday if you can't deliver before Christmas! I found out after-the-fact that you have a bit of a history of this. It's unacceptable. And if you do make the sale but have delays, then push through them. I don't care if a crunch cuts on your profits a bit. It's better than failing and loosing customers.

Why have a Customer Care forum (key word Care) when nobody from Dell answers or cares?

I like you and I’m sure many many others are in the same boat!

Still NO email, call or ANY communication from Dell still, my delivery date was today!
