Poor Customer Service
I had terrible customer service as well. I will never purchase another Dell! The people at the call center are rude, disrespectful, not knowledgeable, don't care and constantly put you on hold and transfer you to other people. The customer service is not doing justice to the product which is actually good. D

I received a very expensive laptop yesterday, and while setting it up I had to reboot. It would only give me the black screen with the Dell logo. Also, I couldn't remove the battery. I have called support, who had talked me through diagnostics and solutions in the past. This time I got India and they said I had a hardware and software problem. My warranty would cover a tech coming to my home to check and fix any hardware issue for free. I didn't buy an extended warranty, so I would have to buy a $200 one year plan before the tech could come out. I declined. Then he said I could buy a $100 one time plan and the tech would come. I declined again. I offered to take my laptop anywhere to have it serviced or to ship it back to Dell for repair or replacement. We agreed to disagree and hung up.
I was able to reboot and hit f12. I changed the boot type and whoa, it loaded. Then I changed the boot type back and it works fine now. Still can't get the battery out. I'd rather take the computer to the Geek Squad or something similar, than pay for a warranty that shouldn't be necessary if they put out a good, reliable product. I have had other Dell computers and was very satisfied. I'm just very disappointed and my computer is only one day old. Pity.

I experienced the EXACT SAME THING. After being transferred 5 times and ending up back at the initial area I started and wasting an hour of my day I just gave up. I went online and used the online chat support and it worked great, no interpreter issues and the person i was chatting with was an actual customer service rep and helped me out immensely.
Phone support = horrible and might as well be non existent
Online support = Very good and helpful like support should be for the cost of these machines
