Request for free refurbished Laptops

Dear Dell,

The Promoters of ART-LITERATURE-SCIENCE (PALS) Foundation is seeking your support to bridge the digital divide affecting underserved students in the United States. Our mission is to provide laptop computers to students who lack access to technology at home.

Key Points:

• 11 million children in the U.S. lack access to suitable devices for learning at home
• Since 2018, PALS has partnered with DoD contractors to provide laptops to students in need
• We focus on 7th to 12th-grade students

Our Achievements:

• Donated nearly 30 laptops to deserving students in the Dayton Metropolitan Area
• Partnered with JYG Innovations to provide funding for laptops and basic Microsoft software

Our Goals:

1. Expand our laptop donation program to reach 25-50 more students by the end of 2025.
2. Develop a network of donors, volunteers, and partners to refurbish and distribute old computers.
3. Implement tutoring services and a mentorship program for students affected by homelessness.
