Trying to make an order
I tried to make an order last month for ink and drum for the 1700 laser printer. But, I never got the product. I followed the directions to the letter (not my first time ordering) and like almost every time the order has problems and I'm left hanging. I called about 5 to maybe even six calls to be placed on hold and juggled to other people. They put me on hold for 1/2 hour to 45 minutes and then disconnect the call. Not once, but twice. I asked for a supervisor and the same thing. This is the India call center doing this. Because they barely speak English well this starts the problem. One of the Reps thought I was swearing at him. What's up with that?
Every time I place an order I have to redo it. NOT EFFIENT. They claim my PO number wasn't valid. WHAT? I am the GM here, creating and issuing those numbers. I sent the tax exemption form and the PO form to the Rep twice. I asked another Rep to let me speak to someone in the States. Never happened (placed on hold and then disconnected). I tried to find another number to contact someone about this, but the calls go to India. How I see it, you have the Fox guarding the chicken coup. Good luck with that!
It shouldn't take no more than a few minutes to make this simple order. I'm finding it takes about 2 to 3 hours of phone tag and emailing and get nothing but aggravation. There's my printer empty and not useable for billing.
Today you are losing me as a customer and Dell products will not be purchased for this organization anymore. As the equipment wears out it will be replaced with a competitor's product that's willing to do business with me instead. I've been a customer since the late 90's and been faithful. Dell, you have not returned the courtesy, so it is time to part ways.
I use to think you guys were great.
