Urgent complaint

1 Detailed Description of Faults

The laptop has experienced a critical hardware failure. A diagnostic has confirmed that the motherboard is short-circuited. This primary failure has rendered the device completely inoperable.

In addition to the motherboard issue, the unit has displayed various other persistent problems.

2 Service History and Current Status

I initially contacted the Dell service center on or around to report issues. Despite this prior contact and the device being under warranty, the problems were not resolved, leading to the current state of critical failure.

The laptop remains non-functional, and due to the nature of the primary fault (short-circuited motherboard), this is a major warranty claim.

3 Requested Resolution

Given the severity of the failure and the fact that the device is still covered under the official Dell warranty, I formally request one of the following actions within five (5) business days:

Immediate replacement of the faulty unit with an equivalent new or refurbished model.

Complete, documented repair performed by a Dell-certified technician, including a new motherboard and resolution of all secondary issues, with an extended 90-day warranty on the repairs.

The purchase bill, which serves as my sole proof of purchase and warranty entitlement, is attached to this complaint. I expect a prompt and professional resolution to this warranty claim.

You need to start by contacting Dell support wherever you are located, and walking through the troubleshooting with the technician.
