Visiting Dell HQ

Has anyone here visited the Dell Headquarters?

I currently live in Florida, and in October I am heading near Austin.

I planned to park at visitor locations at the HQ and take images of the exterior.

However, I don't know if it is allowed.

Thanks

Hi Ascentek,

Thank you for your post and for your interest in visiting Dell's corporate campus.

Dell operates as a closed corporate campus, which means we do not have a visitor center or retail store open to the general public. In most cases, non-Dell visitors must have a business purpose, be invited by a Dell employee, and be escorted while inside Dell facilities.

That said, Building 1, which is generally considered the main campus building, can be viewed from publicly accessible roads and sidewalks surrounding the property.

Regarding parking and moving around the campus, access to Dell property is intended for employees, guests, and individuals conducting business with Dell. Technically, being on the property without a business purpose could be considered trespassing and may result in being asked to leave.

However, if your goal is simply to briefly stop, take a few photos of the exterior for personal memories, and then continue on your way, you would likely not encounter any issues, provided you remain respectful of posted restrictions and do not attempt to enter the buildings or restricted areas.

@DELL-Joey

Hello Joey,

Thank you for the information. I figured I'd stop by and see it in person while in Austin.

No plans to interfere with any operations or insert the builidings.
