Warranty Date Discrepancy
I ordered a Dell Inspiron 5555 Laptop through Flipkart on February 9, 2017 (Service tag: FVLVR72) which came with 1 year limited warranty. However when i checked the warranty on product support of the dell website it shows that my warranty was from June 10, 2016 to June 12, 2017. How did the warranty start about 7 months before the product was shipped to me. The support page mentions that "If you have purchased your Dell product through our retailer, please take note that the warranty start date will be as per the date of the invoice.".
It also states that "To help resolve any discrepancy in warranty entitlement please have available your original invoice or receipt clearly showing Supplier Name, Date, Customer/Company Name, and System Type and Model Description and/or the Service Tag." I have the above mentioned original invoice.
Kindly help me to resolve this issue. Thank you

Hello! You will have to do a retail registration of your unit which may require proof of purchase. You can find that information here.
