Warranty Extension - Alienware m15

Good afternoon, I want to extend the warranty for my Alienware m15. I am unable to contact the support numbers that I get when I follow the links and  I am unable to get any email address. I always get error  'could not complete your request, please try later' when trying through SupportAssist.

Please advise how can I extend it, 5 days to go till expiry.

I live in Qatar and the System is registered in the United Arab Emirates

Thank you

I think you'll find all support there is through dealers/resellers - start either with a local dealer or the original selling dealer.  You likely won't be able to contact Dell directly, as I think you'll find Dell has no official corporate support/presence in that part of the world.

Yes Sir, you are right. The reseller from whom I had purchased the machine has declined to extend the warranty hence I was looking for options to contact Dell directly. This is due to current overall geopolitical situation in middle east. Seems like I have no other option.

Thank you

Warranty extensions rarely make economic sense -- you'd probably find that just one year's extension would run you upward of $400 or more in USD.  You may as well hold those funds in reserve in case a repair is necessary.

Yeah it’s better off to save the money when you need the actual repair done.

Well, in general, I totally agree with you.

Back in 2008, I ordered a custom-built Area-51 m17x. It had dual graphics card based setup. One of the graphics cards and one ram module had issues after three months of warranty expiry and I was not able to get them as it was told Alienware does not keep parts after warranty expiry.

A lot has changed since then, hope nothing such will happen with me.

Thank you all for your response and valuable comments.
