Why Delete my Post?

Hi why Did you delete my post " Complete negligence by Dell Customer Support"

Did you even look into my account or case? I did not use any bad words or anything that would conflict terms and conditions?

Is THIS is how Dell handles a negative feedback from it's customers just deleting any post that doesn't praise you? I received a machine that was broken upon arrivel and it took 2 months for Dell to fix that and now you keep deleting my posts here.

In your first post in this thread, you asked if anyone from Dell had looked in to your case. I would guess not for two reasons. First, this is a user to user forum, not an official way to contact Dell. Second, the forum has automated filters, so it is possible the post was deleted without actually being read.

Here is a link to the Forum Code of Conduct to help you out with other questions you may have. One thing clearly not allowed is the posting of Dell employee names, as your now deleted post indicates you did.

Also, I recommend taking the time to look at the Preview tab before actually posting. That way, if there is a problem (as in your most recent lengthy post that has since ben deleted) it may show up with offending words asterisked out.

If you see the asterisks while previewing, edit out the offending word or the post will end up deleted by Dell's autmoated filters.

Hope this helps explain the deletion of posts. As osprey said, posts are not deleted simply for being negative about Dell. There are plenty of those posts still around.

Regarding your problems with Dell, good luck with things. I would be frustrated as well.

They certainly do! I wonder how long this post will stay up here... I wrote long story about the time frame and what exactly occurred.

As of today my issue is still not solved. It is impossible to get any help from costumer service as you will be thrown into tech support who will throw you back to customer service until your call drops. I used to be hardcore XPS fan, having both desktop and laptop before. I can't image if Dell is treating their core fans and people willing to spend thousands of dollars like this.:emotion-8:

Hi, MartinAM:

Your post will only be deleted if you violate the forum rules, such as posting a Dell employee name or using certain language.

As you'll see if you look around the forum, there are lots and lots of complaints of various sorts that haven't been deleted. :emotion-2:
