Xbox One, Fallout 4 Bundle, Expired
Was so excited about the Black Friday ad for Dell, just to be extremely disappointed at 6PM EST. I waited all day to purchase the xbox one bundle with fallout 4, gears of war, extra controller and a few other things. Just to log in to a message on DELL saying the offer as expired. HOW THE HECK CAN THE OFFER EXPIRE 2 SECONDS AFTER ATTEMPTING TO BUY THIS DEAL. If you didn't get this deal, please do not be upset, you were not the only one. I have 50/50 speed, plugged in my laptop and did everything i was supposed to and dell just pulled a fast one. This was just a cheap attempt for Dell to get more traffic on their website. Seriously disappointed in them and the way have have literally tricked its customers by pulling something slick like this. GOOD JOB DELL MY FAITH/TRUST IN YOU HAS JUST DROPPED TREMENDOUSLY!

Yes!! Yes!!! The exact same thing happened to me!
Not only that but I was told by a customer service operator to call him and ace the order directly only when I called no one there, that was at 5:58 but I am not stupid so u was already logged on and ready to purchase. By the time I hit the button at 6, the website said it couldn't process my request and then by 6:03 that the deal had expired. It was a total ***! After I tried calling customer service because according to Dells site they are only closed on Xmas and NYE/NY, NOT SO! I have been calling repeatedly to have them fix my order and it says they are closed. I have heard rumors about how bad they are and seen the one star reviews but this stuff is just so bad, customer service is so easy to fix. Which indicates they really do not care about the consumer. I'm just going to post this on every forum and social site so that everyone knows how terrible they are. I also plan to let my company know.

I am *** to say the least. I was ready to go and 1 second after the click struck 6pm it was expired. Ithe was a *** tactic to get people on their site. Honestly it was the only black Friday deal I was buying. I ended up buying the 1tb fallout deal but paid more and didn't get an extra control ascplanned...blew my budget to which means out of other things I was buying. Merry *** Christmas Dell....you *** big time on this one...oh and getting a person the phone or online....nope *** there too.

I got *** also. I was logged in and reay to go. At 6pm when the link became active i clicked it and kept getting "this deal is expired" muliptle times. Then i waited 2 hours to chat and they told me "too bad, so sad" over and over again and I called this morning and talked to sales and they said the same thing and would not escalate me to a manager. My relationship with DELL is over. I been a customer for over 20 years but no longer.

I somehow got pushed through a Xbox with Gears of War ONLY bundle for 299.99.
Upon checking my invoice and seeing it was not what I wanted, I reached out to chat support.
I was told, and this is a direct quote, misspellings and all "11/26/2015 04:34:49PM Agent (Venkatesh_karuna): "i request you not to cancell the order but you can modify the order according to your requirements."
I called IMMEDIATELY and was told my order would be modified to the fallout bundle, which now I see sold quickly and probably wasn't even available.
I was advised to call in today, which I have been on the call at this moment for 3 hours 6 minutes to be told that not only was the order NOT modified, but that they will only do a return. My Xbox One is scheduled to be delivered 12/7/15 at which point I have to return it then wait however many business days it takes to process at my financial institute.
This was my first transaction with Dell. Needless to say it will definitely be my last and I personally advise being extremely wary of doing business with Dell. The customer service is built on the strategy of deception and giving you the run around hoping you will give up. The return department and policy is atrocious and extremely biased against the consumer.
So glad I have saved the chat log and chat ID. I plan on filing a formal *** complaint to go with my consumer review posted on the *** site.
TL;DR Dell is not worth doing business with.

The problem isn't with Dell but like many online retailers, they are only allowed so much of a product from the manufacture. Example, Microsoft may have allowed for 100 X-Box bundles for Dell, and if you have 1000+ people clicking on the buy button at the same time, its really a race to see who gets it first.

The ad says sale started at 6pm EST. I logged on at 6 pm EST to this page http://deals.dell.com/compare/x500gowfalltd
I logged in ahead of time. Created an act. Registered my address and credit card. I was all ready for this sale. At 6pm I clicked on the link. The offer popped up. I clicked buy. The wheel spun for about a minute. It said it was trying to "get me this deal" then at time 6:01 EST it said "this deal is no longer available." Really? I clicked buy LITERALLY seconds into the sale starting and they ran out of inventory. DELL should be ashamed of themselves for such disgusting practices. Obviously they had very very few units available on purpose. Just a lowlifeto trick people into going to their website. I don't understand how this is even legal honestly. Who's to say there were even ANY items available. We will never know. Good job Dell. Due to your sleazy sales tactics I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER DELL PRODUCT AGAIN. They should be for such disgusting sales tactics. Hopefully more follow suit and dump Dell. Furthermore people are reporting on other sites that the original price popped back up as available - proving it wasn't even an inventory problem. You CHOSE not to honor the offer. That HAS to be illegal. You should get slapped with a fat paying everyone who took THEIR IMPORTANT TIME out of their holiday to log onto your and try and buy the item. YOU OWE US!!

I'm callin *** on that. If MS limited how many bundles a retailer can sell, why did Dell offer the bundle back at its regular, overpriced self, minutes later? Stop being the lap dog of corporate shysters. They scammed us, Plain and simple. A decent corporation would refuse to even hold the sale if that was the guaranteed outcome they would suffer if they had an ethical bone in their body - but instead, Dell is turning to cheap, huckster tactics to try and stay relevant. And it blew up in their faces. At least companies like amazon show a progress bar of how a sale is going, then offer the chance to go on a waitlist if you click buy too slow. Dell offered none of this. To top it off, they weren't even at work when it went down. They let stupid india tech support try and handle the backlash. Pathetic. I am actually going to return my recently purchased Dell computer out of disgust for this *** company.

Lol, have fun with that. All retailers do it, some are more proactive then others when it comes to keeping people informed. Welcome to Black Friday.

I had the same experience in attempting to buy the $229 Dell Inspiron (i3 processor) BF Laptop deal. Logged on ahead of time, waited until EXACTLY 2:00 EST and it never allowed me to "get this deal" even after refreshing browser several times. Finally at 2:02 EST it showed that the deal was "no longer available" (well it NEVER WAS available to me). I immediately called DELL to complain and after 25 min on hold, was connected to a representative who said there was nothing he could do. I'm DONE with DELL and their SCAM marketing tactics - total waste of my time!!!

Get a grip!
Newegg, Amazon, Walmart, and Target all had them on sale and sold out within a few minutes. Are you going to *** them too?
You should be mad at the manufacturer for not producing enough, not the seller.

It wasn't a scam. It was a classic *** & switch. I had the same experience. It's to get you here for 299 and have you spend the extra $50 for a console that you can buy everywhere else on BF for 299.00. Same thing happened to me. If you tried to get the cyber monday deal this morning, the same thing happened. They want you to spend the extra $50 to get the same thing you can get anywhere else.
Once I get my gift card issue resolved and spend what I have left at Dell they will never get another dime from me. I've never dealt with such terrible customer service in my life.

No question this was a scam. Pathetic and shamefull. The item was literally not available after less than 1 second. Don't feel bad though if you didn't get to order it. Dell is canceling order of those that did get an order in.

Try and pay attention.
The "sale" ended in one second, saying there was no more stock. Then minutes later the same bundle was back up, in stock, for the full price. Nothing to do w the manufacturer.
100% scam.
I'm done with Dell.
