Detailed steps to setup our own SSL Cert for DPA 6.2??

Does anyone have detailed steps required to get a cert and private server key into a valid java keystore so that they can be added to DPA 6.2?  The provided information in the implementation guide seems to be for someone who already knows how to do it.

No.  I have the certificate and private key files.  What's not clear is how to get those into a keystore file that can then be imported using the steps in the DPA guide.

From what i've been able to tell..  the java keytool tool should be able to treat a pkcs12 file as a keystore and import the contents of the p12 file into the keystore.  However, when using the dpa app impcert wrapper around keytool it blows up.  When it blows up there is also a message that says it worked so at this point it's hard to tell for sure what's happening.  Although it's clear that the apollo.keystore isn't changed so the cert/key were not really imported.

The issue is that the documentation provides no detail.  So, it is "correct" but it is not helpful to the end user who doesn't already know how to perform the tasks involved.

My experience with SRs and documentation is that they are a black hole.  I tried this forum in hopes to get an answer this month as opposed to waiting for some future release of DPA.
