DPA 6.2 - Backup VMs Not Backed Up

I'd like to edit this template to exclude templates and vms not powered on. However i am unsure of how to check for vm power state. I do see in the data sources there is a virtual host configuration 'virtual machine type', however i am not certain of the valid values to set for this.

I apologize in advance if this has been asked before and i have overlooked a response.
