DPA Collection

This is a question about getting DPA to collect data -

I have DPA started on version 5.

I did not do the install, and it was converted by someone else to version 6

but it sure does not seem to work right.

most of the dashboards say not enough data.

I had to redo about 1/2 of my custom scheduled reports to get them to work, and they do now.

but I don't' seem to be able to get much info about my Avamar backups or my Data Domain.

Is there any white paper or videos that would help with:

1) making sure it IS collecting from the items we have added

2) how to get the dashboard to actually report - instead of saying not enough data collected

3) how to write a custom report.

I have been attempting to read the manual as a training book, but it is taking a long time and I don't seems to be making any progress in getting it actually report in the dash board.
