DPA does not start after 6.1 patch 133 to 6.1 SP1 upgrade
I have a case logged on this one but hoping someone can give me a suggestion quicker than support!
I followed upgrade section in Installation guide. Stopped application and datastore on relevant servers. Patched datastore first which went okay and dpa --version indicated 6.1.1.86366 installed. Rebooted server. Installed application server next, appeared to go okay, rebooted server, verified dpa app ver indicates 6.1.1.86394 patch 198 installed. Since then (20 hours ago) the ...\services\applications directory has the .isdeployingfiles still showing (and regularly updating timestamps) but it seems to be taking far too long!
Anyone met this before and have an idea how to resolve?

Okay, resolved but took some time. Resolution as follows:
1. Reinstall 6.1
2. Patch to 6.1 patch 133 (Datastore then App)
3. Recover database dump
4. Import db into DPA
5. Verify DPA working okay
6. Patch to 6.1 patch 179 (I think, latest 6.1 patch)
7. Verify working
8. Upgrade/patch to SP1
9. Verify working
10. Patch 6.1.1 to latest patch 287
11. Verify working
12. historical import of data between time of backup and time of bringing back up
A lot of work but running fine now. New version seems more efficient but still buggy!
