new Avamar unit fails to connect to DPA server. We are using default credential

Hello... we have a relatively new Avamar unit that we are attempting to add to DPA.

We have several Avamar 7.0 systems functional and reporting in DPA using the default login credentials

The one we are having difficulty with at 7.1

With all of the object management configurations, we use the DPA default credentials

DPA is release 6.2.1

messages in DPA indicate failed to connect to database.

Are the credentials different?

Is something not active on Avamar?
