Let us understand the issue, you installed Power Protect Data Manager and you are trying to add Data Domain as a Backup Storage? If it is, please check your network connection between PPDM and Data Domain. (Port 3009, 111,2049 and 2052)
Updating Power Protect Data Manager has always been easy, and it keeps getting easier. In this latest version, there’s a new interface area added for handling software updates, and it can connect via Support Assist to automatically download updates as they become available.
