SANS Self- Encrypting Drives - Test
I was wondering if anyone has tested removing a drive from a SANS to make sure the encryption feature engages? And if so what was the success rate if multiple attempts were engaged?

I tried to remove a drive from a SANS so many time. But it is not possible for me. As I watched alot of youtube videos related to it. But still unable. As it was required in our university thesis. Then I changed my thesis topic to insert chemical structure. which is an easy topic and have completed in just a week.

Hi, Yes, I have tried multiple time to remove drive from a SANS but the success ratio is about 20-30%. Although sometime it get successful but in majority case it get buggy. The expert member of our team has tried alot of times. But he hasn't completed it successfully.
