DMC cannot connect, check your network connection
My first attempt at using DMC (Dell Mobile Connect) Windows 10 and iPhone 12 went reasonably well. It connected, I could see files and contacts, could send a text (but wasn't notified of receiving any), notifications appeared on the PC - but I could make phone calls (it said it wasn't connected - even though elsehere it said it was - and obviously was).
Next day, I cannot connect either by scanning the QR code or by "using a code". In both cases, my phone says "Unable to connect. Please check your network connection & try again". My phone and PC both have high speed network access. I have re-started the phone and the PC has been re-booted.

I have deleted and re-installed the app many times - for short-term success.

Same problem, installed, uninstalled, reset, reinstalled, in a few days the problem occurs again. I've done this at least 4 times. I was looking into writing some PowerShell script to automate this, but PowerShell is a whole different animal from DOS batch file, and so that will take me a while to learn. So please solve this problem.

Hello,
I have been searching for hours to solve the connection problem, and I discovered that there is a driver for the application to work properly. It is possible that you have a problem like mine.

Thanks OnToMars, but I tried the new driver and wasted another couple of hours of my life uninstalling, re-booting, re-pairing etc etc and can't get it going fully/ Time to give it away.
I spent hours and hours working on the problem with Dell and they wanted to swap my whole PC out. I said that is too time-consuming and painfull for me, and DMC definitely isn't worth the effort.
