AD Authentication Broken after upgrade to version: 3.6.0.41
AD Authentication Broken after upgrade to version: 3.6.0.41
I have upgraded the Dell OpenManage Enterprise yesterday and since cannot login with any domain credentials, works fine with the local Admin account and test connection to AD successfully, but when I go to actually login with AD credentials(domain Admin), the login just hangs forever and says the credentials are incorrect, which aren't.

The issue with the AD Authentication is resolved now by installing the latest release update 6.3.1.6 - released a couple of days ago. Thanks Dell for the prompt response and fixing the problem!

Hello @YaskoT,
Sorry to read that you are experiencing this issue with OpenManage Enterprise. Was there any issue during the upgrade process? From which version were you updating?
I suggest going through LDAP configuration once again. Re-type the password and save again. The goal is to update the password after update.
Did you take a VM snapshot of the console as a backup in case something unexpected occurs as update procedure suggest?
Regards.

Same experience for me, ended up reverting back to 3.5.0.60 as well.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply.
I did take the snapshot, but i have attempted 2 upgraded already and rolled them back, still the same issue.
Can access the server locally.
There were no errors during the upgrade.
Will go trough the LDAP configuration once again, if that is necessary, just worrying that it may delete my network devices, got over a 100 of them, it took me a while to configure them all.

Hello again @YaskoT,
Please, could you confirm me if the error persist in the old version after rollback? Like @snarmes and @jarkeld have stated in their comments?
Regards.
