Cant register Services Plugin

I was notified that there was an update for the services plugin to 3.0.2.835. After completing the upgrade i was notified there was an issue with the plugin and attempted to repair. The repair wouldn't work so I ended up uninstalling the plugin. I was then able to install the Service plugin but when I try register it it fails and says there was either an issue connecting to Dell or a access key or pin number problem. I also have CloudIQ installed and from what I read the Services plugin should be able to use the CloudIQ and not require registration.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Robert

I uninstalled the plugin again, restarted the appliance, reinstalled the plugin and it registered correctly.

Hello thanks for choosing Dell.

For both OMES and CloudIQ plugin, you’ll need to be registered separately.

On the OMES registration, can you confirm if the Network Connectivity tests are passing?

What’s the error when you're trying to register OMES?

Respectfully,

Robwevans,

After researching the issue for you, I would suggest that you call in and work with the OpenManage/Sysmgmt group, as it may require direct access or going throught the logs/files to resolve.
