Customize the Devices View ? Datacenter Field

Question

We have several R-650 Servers in various remote locations. On each I-Drac we have the datacenter field populated with a site name, under location. All of these servers report back to Dell OpenManage.

In Dell OpenManage, Under the devices view I would like to add the column for datacenter. Can I add a Column ?

Or another idea is this.. Right there on the devices view is the Chassis Name field and it's blank.. Can I populate Chassis Name on the iDrac ? My 650's are rack servers (not a chassis)

Hi, thanks for choosing Dell. The function you're looking for does not exist I'm afraid. Also might I recommend you take a look at https://dell.to/3KKfzYF which will replace OpenManage eventually.

Hello Denville,

I don't expect OpenManage Enterprise to end any time soon. It replaced OpenManage Essentials.

This may help you can categorizing your devices. You can organize devices in the remote locations into Custom Groups.
