Drac Network

Our network layout is somewhat unique.  (We're trying to get around that but at the moment it's stuck)  All of our servers are connected to the main network which has internet access.  The dracs were connected on a seperate disconnected network.  Only systems that have a 2nd NIC to that network can access the dracs.

I'd love to have a OpenManage server that would have 2 NICs to be able to talk to the DRAC Network AND the internet for updates/reporting/alerts.  The OpenManage Enterprise is an OVA file with 1 NIC.  I'd like to experiment to attempt to add a 2nd NIC to this server and the Documentation states to send the FSD DAT file to "a Dell Contact"  Who is this person?  I've sent it to our account reps who have forwarded it on and it's been several weeks without anything more.

Is there a better solution that someone could recommend?

After chatting it appears that Essentials will do what we need to do.  So we're experimenting with that.

Remember that Enterprise is replacing Essentials, so you won't have a huge life on it.  And you'll want to get rid of it and Silverlight after using it for a while.

I'm in the same boat, and there are a few other threads about it.  They say it's been passed to the devs, hopefully it's included in the next release.  So may people run their management in a separate network.

Right now I've put mine on my management network, and set up a squid proxy on my old Essentials server.  It's kind of working, but not ideal.
