Does this happen to this host only or to others as well?

This happens every time i try to patch a host using a baseline we have setup in OME. Doesn't matter which host - initially comes up for all of them. Gets passed it as I suspect it ends up downloading the updates directly from Dell.

Hi, so we don't have any known issue to spread to public that there's something going on with the website, or haven't encountered same issue from other customers. Could you possibly check your network or firewall and etc. first? Wish you a good weekend.

I could understandably suspect firewalls if the process was broken and that I wasn't able to update any servers with hardware. But as stated it works just fine.... it simply has to resort to downloading the updates from the dell website within OME and that works just fine. The error specifically says it is having issues downloading the updates from the repository (I imagine the local repository). Then as a workaround it attempts to download those updates from dell.com which succeeds.
So not sure where to go from here.... raising an SR I am guessing.

We have a similar problem using Lifecycle controller to update firmware. The issue for the Lifecycle process is that proxy servers don't work with Lifecycle controller, even if they are entered correctly in the network configuration.
We needed to change to a "public network" that did not require a proxy server. Then it worked fine.
Does your networking to Dell go through a proxy server? Just a thought.

Hello,
We do though is our only option in this environment. Once it gives up on the local repository it does reach out to dell.com and downloads the updates and proceeds to updating firmware without an issue.
